This year, the Meghan M. McKeever Foundation, with the funds raised by the Miles for Megs girls, decided to continue Meg's work and create as many holiday memories for children that they could. It is because of her that we do what we do. Thank you for your generous support this year. It made a difference to so many.
Working with Meghan was a true gift. She was the type of person that inspired creativity. She made you want to do better. She loved the families she served especially the children. And she knew that helping to create a holiday moment for a child was worth it. Maybe it is just a toy to the outside world, but to that child, it could be the moment they remember how special they are.

Miles for Megs Walk
The Meghan M. McKeever Foundation proudly announces the Miles for Megs Campaign! We all know what a great supporter and cheerleader Meg was to all her friends. She would cheer at road races, ring a cowbell, and always help celebrate with a cocktail at the finish line. Three of Megs friends started this campaign as a way to bring Meg with them on their next racing adventure. They are logging miles, blogging about blisters, adding pictures of fun sights, and most importantly raising money for the foundation. 100% of all the funds raised go directly to Meg's Wish.

This past week, the agency Meghan worked for celebrated their 10 year anniversary. As a way to commemorate this event, the offices in the area held a walk down the Ocean City boardwalk to bring awareness to Meghan's foundation. The gloomy forecast could not dampen the spirits of those who continue to carry out Meghan's work.

For the second summer in a row, we are once again sending a foster child for a 2 week stay at Camp Ockanickon in Medford, NJ! This child will have the opportunity to go swimming and boating, try photography, fishing, zip lining and more! Camp Ockanickon also offers campers a focus on individual growth and development, helping kids develop confidence and leadership skills.

In the 2015 holiday season we donated gift cards to adolescents involved in the child welfare system. We plan to continue to help the young community in any way we can and donations from you make this possible!
